A sparrow followed by a hawk flew into my classroom. The sparrow flew right back out the door. The forty students in the room began squealing. The poor hawk was totally confused and after a minute of trying to shoo him out I realized we would have to evacuate the room to get any results. I took a few photos then realized he wasn't going to leave on his own, even with the kids gone. I went next door, borrowed a net from another teacher, captured him, then released him outside - none the worse for wear.
