What

South-central Black Rhinoceros (Diceros bicornis ssp. minor)

Observer

trosenmeier

Date

November 2013

Description

Our guide told us that the sore on the rhino's flank is caused by a parasitic fly that plagues them in this end of their range. Hopefully the oxpecker is picking off most of these flies.
