Description

A small bright green bee-eater with a yellow throat and square-ended tail without any streamers, perched on a Convolvulaceae branch along the eastern shore of the River Niger, along the border of Parc W in south-western Niger.

Description

Tall shrub (2 to 3 m tall) with long branches covered with heart-shaped leaves and bearing large (6-8 cm) light pinkish-purple corollas with a deeply pigmented throat.
