Lesser Frigatebirds can be seen patrolling over these inter-tidal flights on about 50% of visits, more likely when a storm is arriving, or has been through. These are nice adult male Lesser Frigates with the small white blocks in the 'armpits' of the underwing. Other ages, and sexes, have more white on the underside - but always with these white blocks going onto the wing. Great Frigates (much less common than Lesser in Fiji) don't show the extension of white onto the wing like this.
