Project created to coincide with a facebook page I created "Unusual Marine Life of Alaska: Report, Identify and Learn". I am trying to gather observations of common, unusual, rare, and new Alaska marine life. Changes in ocean temps and other factors have introduced different species such as Pyrosoma atlanticum to Alaska waters. I think this would be a great way to track those changes, share observations, get help with identifications, and introduce people to the diversity of Alaska marine life.
