Take photos of species you find in your backyard/ neighborhood and compare them with the “Sonoran Desert Plants and Wildlife” species. At minimum, upload one species with at least three picture of the plant or animal.
Upload the photos, observations, and other details in your iNaturalist app/ website post.
Before you start, go to the “More” tab at the bottom. Click on “Projects”. Click on the Search icon in the top right hand corner. Search “AT HOME Mansfeld School Project”. Click on it. Click “join”. Take a few pictures of the plant/animal. Go into the iNaturalist app and click the “Observe” camera button at the bottom. Take a picture of the plant/animal. Click “Next” once you are satisfied with the picture. Click the box with the plus in the middle to add the other pictures you’ve taken. Make sure that you have pictures that are clear and really show what the plant/animal looks like. If you know the species of the animal, you can look up what you saw. Otherwise, leave the “What did you see” part blank. Write a brief description in the notes section. Make sure “Geo privacy” is open so that everyone know where your picture was taken. Finally, go to the projects tab at the bottom and turn on the “AT HOME Mansfeld School Project” and fill out the required fields.
Write down a brief reflection of the experience. One paragraph minimum.
GOOD LUCK SUCCCCCCULENTS!
