Updating Sugarloaf Ridge State Park plant list

Gentle Naturalists,

I am working with @graysquirrel (Krissa Klein) to update the plant list for Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. This geographical iNaturalist project
https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/sugarloaf-ridge-state-park-all-observations
is very useful for that, and adds almost 80 species of plants not otherwise listed as occurring in the park.

However, one obvious shortcoming of geographical projects is that they tend to exclude observations with obscured locations, including rare plants. I would therefore like to ask a favor of each of you, please.
If you replace my user_id with yours in the following link
https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?place_id=136395&user_id=dlevitis&verifiable=any@geoprivacy%3Dobscured_private&taxon_geoprivacy=obscured_private
it will give you a list of your observations that are in the park and have obscured locations.

Please check if you have any observations taken within the bounds of Sugarloaf Ridge State Park that have obscured locations, and if so contribute them to this project:
https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/biodiversity-at-sugarloaf-ridge-state-park

That will aid us in knowing what rare plants and animals are in the park. Thank you!

Best wishes,
Dan

Hi Dan,

I tried to do this, but failed. Any way you could use the Google add-on called Screencastify and create a how-to video for us. The site probably seems intuitive to you, but it is kind of scary for me (bugs and snakes good—new technology 🤮.

Thank you,

Hi Nancy! Thank you for trying and thank you for asking.

I can see that you are already a member of project "Biodiversity at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park" so following the instructions in this very brief video I just made should allow you to add your observations to the project, I believe.

It may help if you use this link where I've already put in your user id https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?place_id=136395&user_id=nancyje&verifiable=any@geoprivacy%3Dobscured_private&taxon_geoprivacy=obscured_private

I'm also happy to give more specific advice if you tell me which step you are having trouble with. Thank you!
