Two enormous lantana regrow as part of UNC's south campus landscaping every spring at the corner of Hibbard Drive and William Blythe Drive. Lantana are not native to NC, but not an invasive threat in the area, and they're an incredible nectar plant for pollinators. Clouds of butterflies and bees surround the lantana while they are in bloom. This project exists to catalogue the incredible variety of species these plants play host to. less ↑
