Photograph advice

In order to take standardised photos that will be comparable with all other photos in the database please follow these rules:

  1. Photos should be of common toad (Bufo bufo) only
  2. Where possible, photos should be taken without flash and out of direct sunlight (to prevent glare)
  3. Hold toads by the back legs and allow to hang so that loose skin isn't distorted and sits naturally (see example photos)
  4. Ensure photo includes vent and "underarm" of front legs (to allow standardised cropping)
