1,000 Observations!

Congratulations Lake Wales Ridge WEA explorers! You've just reached a significant milestone of 1,000 observations in this project. As most people reading this probably know, Lake Wales Ridge WEA is one of the FWC's most diverse conservation areas. Getting high-quality observations of different species helps us understand what's present and that, in turn, helps us conserve what's there.

Keep the observations coming!

Welcome

Welcome to FWC’s Nature Tracker program! If you’ve joined this project, you’re officially on the team. Every observation that you submit moves us closer to an understanding of what species we share our state with and where they may be found. We appreciate your help with enhancing our ability to conserve Florida’s natural heritage.

Interested in volunteering to serve as a project curator? Please email peter.kleinhenz@myfwc.com for further details.
