Your mission, should you choose to accept, is to locate and document as many species as you can starting August 28th to September 1st using the iNaturalist App. We are looking for anything alive, for example, plants, animals, birds, trees and insects all count. Snap a photo and do your best to identify the critter you saw and upload it to the project page.
What is iNaturalist?
iNaturalist is a citizen science project and online social network of naturalists, citizen scientists, and biologists built on the concept of mapping and sharing observations of biodiversity across the globe.
Observations may be added via the website or from a mobile application.
What you need before coming to camp?
• Smart phone or tablet
• iNaturalist app downloaded to the smart phone or tablet.
• Create a username and password
• Join the Hopi Youth BioBlitz Challenge from inside the app.
