The goal of Iowa Fungal Biodiversity Project (old name: The Iowa Mycoflora Project) is to record and sequence Iowa fungi, to contribute to the larger body of fungal knowledge in the US.

*Observations added to this project are not necessarily restricted to those that have had tissue collected for sequencing. However, all specimens that have had tissue collected for sequencing need to have an associated iNaturalist observation, and must be added to this project. less ↑
