May Bioblitz at CVNP!

Hey iNaturalist team, I hope you have heard that 2016 is the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service! And iNaturalist is hosting their bioblitzes to celebrate this nationwide centennial! As part of the celebration, our very own Cuyahoga Valley National Park will have a HUGE Bioblitz and Biodiversity Festival on May 20-21 - visit the CVNP website to learn more. Please consider joining their iNat project (2016 National Parks Bioblitz-Cuyahoga Valley) and participating by submitting your records during this two day event. Your observations will be shared in real-time at the National Mall in Washington, D.C.

Please also consider joining the NPS Servicewide 2016 Bioblitz project, which is accepting any records ever recorded within any National Park. Our rich regional biodiversity with a national park at our doorstep affords us a unique opportunity to maximize participation. So I hope you all have a chance to join the projects, add observations, and get out there!
