The goal of this project is to conduct a species inventory of the native oaks in two defined of the city of Mountain View. In these areas there is high-quality historical ecological data that shows where oak woodlands and savanna used to be present. SFEI will develop targets and metrics connected to past and present statuses of oak populations with regards to abundance and composition.
