Namma Kere // Bangalore Lake Watch

Namma Kere (ನಮ್ಮ ಕೆರೆ) is a project to collect observations of not just birds but insectae,arachnids,moths,butterflies,plants,reptiles,amphibians,
gastropods,fishes,mammals and even fungi in the urban lakes and other such water bodies of Bengaluru. The intention is to spread awareness and create a easy dataset for researchers and among other things. Even the smallest lakes have interesting biodiversity not only in the form of birds, but other things too!
Only lakes which are present in the heart of the city, (Urban) are allowed in this project. Meaning water bodies such as Hessarghatta or Valley school are excluded. Please read the terms. less ↑
