Lots of them. Almost caught one. They were all on a rock that looked like a turtle. I thought that was pretty funny.

Description

Tried to turn over a log and accidentally pulled out a huge piece of bark. About 20 of them fell out but I ended up catching 5 and later let them go.

There were two of them crossing the path. I was able to catch this guy. These pictures is kind of hard to see.

There were two of them. They had yellow feet however, which made it difficult to identify. Doing some research on California Herps I was able to identify these guys.

This was at the same park where I found the newts. There were two of them but I only got a picture of one. They were right by a pond where there were newts.

Found a whole bunch of them. There were some in a pond. Some were in a stream on a nature trail. A pair were mating. Also, I found a batch of eggs.
