Description

Found growing it the middle of a pile of leaves. Two of the same plant was found in the same area. Is about one foot in length wide. Is green. The leaves of the plant are round.

About one foot tall. Only one was found in the area and appears to have been chewed on by an insect. The whole stem of the rose appears to be very spiky.

Description

Was found on a rock on our way down to grouse hill.About one foot of the rock was covered in it.More of the similar lichen was found on rocks near the one this lichen was found.It is a dark green color with a fuzzy texture.

This feather was found stuck on a spider web. Two of the same feather were found near the location.It is a blueish blackish color, and it appears to be about 3 inches long.

Description

This fungus was found on a fallen branch. There were about 4 to 5 of the fungus on the branch. The fungus is a light brown color with darker brown colored rings around it. The biggest fungus was about one inch wide.

Catkin from a tanoak. Only a few on the ground, right under a large tan oak. About 3.5 inches long. Fuzzy small bits of "pollen" on "strings."
