Bright yellow flower found in Harding grass. No other flowers of this species found in area. About 3.5 feet tall. Diameter of flower 3/4 inch.

Description

Growing with Harding grass. Flower poofs are light lavender. Flowers on top and leaves on bottom. Very fragrant, Penny royal plants are about 2.5 feet tall. Four other plants in sight.

Found in barley meadow. About an inch and a half. Orange with red legs. Thick exoskeleton.

Description

We came across this tarantula hole walking on the trail. It is a hole about 2.5 inches in diameter, and it is coated in spider webs. The hole is open, which means the hole is vacant. When the spider is home, the hole will be closed up. This tarantula is mostly likely roaming around this area.
