Roemer Arboretum at SUNY Geneseo, Geneseo, NY

The purpose of this project is to collect observations of the flora and fauna of the Spencer J. Roemer Arboretum, a 20-acre natural area on the campus of SUNY Geneseo. It was founded in 1990 through an endowed gift to the Geneseo Foundation by Dr. Spencer J. Roemer. The land comprising the Spencer J. Roemer Arboretum was owned by the Wadsworth family of Geneseo since 1790. It was used as pasture until the 1960s, when it became part of the SUNY Geneseo campus. less ↑
