This is intended as a shared field notebook for observations of plants, animals, and natural phenomena in the Sandia mountains, including the west side foothills, the Manzanitas, and the Manzanos.

Please include photos if possible. Sound recordings may also be added, using Sound Cloud. Any notes about habitat, weather conditions, time of day, and specific location, are very helpful. Note what the animal was doing. If the observation is of a plant, note whether it was in flower, showing fruit or seeds, just leafing out, or dormant. less ↑
