This project aims to assess the health of the South China Forests, especially through the monitoring of arthropods. The observations gathered in this project will offer insights into the state of South China Forest biodiversity, and give us clues on how we might best go about conserving biodiversity and the ecosystem services in the region. Currently, arthropod samplings are primarily done in Tai Po Kau, which is one of Hong Kong's best secondary forest systems, as well as the primary forest plots in Dinghushan, China.
