The Southern Appalachian Biodiversity Consortium is a network of individuals devoted to enhancing the knowledge of Appalachian biodiversity through education, research, and community engagement. The SABC is currently made up of representatives from 7 colleges and universities across North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Kentucky. Observations are contributed to this project by SABC members as a way to share ongoing work and foster regional collaboration, although observations from across the Southern Appalachians from any and all iNaturalist users are welcome.
