Spring Bioblitz 2018

Come out and enjoy the glory of spring in the Big Thicket!

Beginner and expert nature-lovers alike are encouraged to help us learn more about the Preserve by recording all plant, animal, and fungi species they encounter while exploring our forests.

Rangers will be stationed at the Kirby Nature Trail trailhead from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm with field guides, reference books, and their own expertise to help visitors identify their observations.

This bioblitz encompasses all species found anywhere within the Big Thicket National Preserve on Saturday May 12. less ↑
