Whooper South of Dallas on the move

Thank you to everyone that called and emailed me to offer to look for the bird south of Dallas (LA WC 6-12). We had two volunteers and a TPWD biologist go look for the bird, but they were unable to find her. The good news is that the transmitter data shows that this bird has flown over 5 miles from the lake where it was hanging out, a good indication that she is not injured or molting.
