To generate as much data as possible on the distribution of reptiles and amphibians in the U.P. This is a baseline survey which will be used to monitor future changes in species distribution. These data are being used in a biogeographical study which will result in a book. This is also part of the bi-national Lake Superior watershed herp monitoring program with our partners in Ontario.
