West Atlanta Watershed Alliance is inviting 4th grade and higher students to participate, Wednesday September 28, 2016, in our Urban Bioblitz? We are inviting partners from our science community to assist scholars in finding, identifying, and cataloging biodiversity to team with 4th grade and older students and identify living things at the Outdoor Activity Center. Your science teachers are welcome to also act as leads.

The teams will use iNaturalist software to record observations during the event. Using a smartphone’s camera, iNaturalist will be able to recognize the species that you photograph, allowing for precise and accurate identification.

We are coordinating the assessments from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM on 09/28/16 or we welcome participation from the after school program.
