Where are the Box Turtles

I want to thank all the people that have submitted pictures and information on Eastern Box Turtles found in NC. That helps our project a lot. We hope you all and new collaborators continue helping with this project.
Our students continue tracking box turtles at the Lake Raleigh Area and we are now very interested in finding more information about hibernation. Why do turtles die during hibernation? We are starting to collect more data to answer this question.
