Wilding conifers (self established conifer trees from wind-transported seed) are threatening NZ iconic landscapes and indigenous flora and fauna in the high country and other areas of New Zealand. This project has been established to document locations where wildings are present. The collected information may be used by scientists, policy makers and interested parties to draw a much better picture of the severity and extent of wilding conifers in New Zealand.
