Sweetgrass Station is one of the few sites within Wood Buffalo National Park that was associated with wildlife conservation practices. Now of days, Sweetgrass is a designated as a back-country camping site that is use every year by school groups to learn about cultural and historical elements.

During our bioblitz, we will me monitoring the nocturnal animal activities ( bats, owls, hawks) by recording their echo-sounds. We will also recorded wolf howling and on-site signing on any wildlife ( bison, wolf, coyote, bear) around the area. less ↑
