Description

We are at our final location for the Costa Rica trip. It has been raining here lightly but steadily the past 20 or so hours so mostly what I have done is relax on the deck and take a few snapshots of some birds in the garden including some wintering birds which will be en route to the U.S. soon.

Ejemplar de Tangara Azulgris
Este ejemplar por alguna razón se metió a la casa, lo que me permitió obtener estas fotografías antes de que se saliera de la casa. Muy inquietos o activos, guardan distancia del ser humano. Dieta preferida Plátanos (Musa) Aguacate, Pan.
Los he observado llegar a mediados de Septiembre y después de Mayo en ralas ocasiones los he visto
Visto y fotografiado en Coatzacoalcos Veracruz

Description from Wikipedia

The Blue-grey Tanager (Thraupis episcopus) is a medium-sized South American songbird of the Tanager family, Thraupidae. Its range is from Mexico south to northeast Bolivia and northern Brazil, all of the Amazon Basin, except the very south. It has been introduced to Lima (Peru). On Trinidad and Tobago, this bird is called Blue Jean.
