Description

Female Brewer's Blackbird, perched on rooftop, Dunsmuir, CA, USA.

The Blackbirds here like to steal the cat's dry food (kibbles), and I think this particular female blackbird was keeping watch to sound the All-Clear signal. She was chirping repeatedly, and once she jumped off the roof and descended onto the cat food, several male blackbirds flew in and joined her at the cats' bowls.
