I made a little photography stand out of paper and plastic cups. Testing it out here to see if it helps get clearer pictures. It does, but it really ticks them off and I think it roughs them up a bit. On the bright side they don't fly off and the get their underside.

This was the closest match I could find. Idaea ptyonopoda

I'm a little thrown off though because my observation doesn't have the fringe on the end of the winds like Idaea ptyonopoda. so I bumped it back to Geometridae.
