Description

A Yellow-billed Cuckoo seen along a trail in Trustom Pond NWR. Heard several and managed to get photos of two different individuals. The yellow bill and the large white splotches on the tail distinguish it from the Black-billed Cuckoo (also in this area).

Description from Wikipedia

The Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Coccyzus americanus, is a cuckoo. Common folk-names for this bird in the southern United States are Rain Crow and Storm Crow. These likely refer to the bird's habit of calling on hot days, often presaging thunderstorms.
