Found in the village of Ranomafana near the park, calling at night along the stream.
Boophis elenae is a species of frog in the Mantellidae family. It is endemic to Madagascar. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, rivers, arable land, plantations , rural gardens, and heavily degraded former forest. It is threatened by habitat loss.
