Description

This frog was found during a three month-long herpetological, avian, mammalian, and botanical survey of an unexplored region of eastern Peru with Louisiana State University. The main campsite was located 65 km northeast of Pucallpa in the Ucayali District.

Description from Wikipedia

The Cayenne slender-legged tree frog (Osteocephalus leprieurii) is a species of frog in the Hylidae family found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and intermittent freshwater marshes. It is threatened by habitat loss.
