Southeast part of Albuquerque, Bernalillo Co., New Mexico, USA. Common now in this city but patchy in their distribution (some neighborhoods don't have any). It seems to me they prefer suburban areas with many utility lines (e.g., telephone lines; favorite perch spots) and avoid those without.
