Description

Fue observada cerca de una laguna en Altamira, Tamaulipas, en la zona la vegetación es pastizal, principalmente. esta especie se encontraba sobre un árbol seco.

Actualmente se encuentra enlistada en la NOM-059-SEMARNAT-2010.
No endémica.

Description from Wikipedia

The Mapepire Corde Violon or Blunthead Tree Snake (Imantodes cenchoa) is a slender snake in the colubrid family. It is found from southern Mexico, through Central America and South America. It feeds on geckos, anolis lizards, frogs, reptile eggs, and frog eggs.
