Some kind of Lizard. I just took a picture before it was taken away by a Great-tailed Grackle.
Please help with ID.

This species was relatively common on the rocky slopes of the main canyon.
Th lizard was short and smooth. The tail was about 2 inches and the head body was about 2 1/2 inches. There was different tints of brown and green all through it. It blended in with the rock it was on. Its legs were very short which helped it run very quickly. The skin was also starting to shed.
