Description

This one is interesting. It certainly had gecko feet, but I was startled to see it in midday sunshine. Best I could manage was this weak photograph -- and then the gecko disappeared, almost as quickly as it had arrived.

It's definitely Hemidactylus and, I think, maybe garnotii. I've thought a long, long time with this one and that's the best identification I can muster. If you'd like to offer a correct, please do so! Check the comments for potential alterternatives.

Description

We don't see these as often around houses or on walls, so far only finding them near forested areas. This pair were chasing each other around the tree in full sun.
