Echinosaura is a genus of lizards that are called the spined tegus. Their habitat is in a small area of the tropical rainforests of South America. The lizards are normally brown, with little 'spines' sticking out of its torso, head, and tail, putting them in a spectacled lizard category. They're in the family Gymnophthalmidae.
