I'm somewhat challenged to ID this as Meroles anchietae or Meroles reticulatus.
The spot pattern seems unlike anchietae, although the behavior (lifting feet and tail off the hot sand) is characteristic for the species. Will assume spot pattern is variable, or this is a juvenile/female.
Meroles is a genus of wall lizards of the family Lacertidae.
