The Lesser Earless Lizard (Holbrookia maculata) is a species of Phrynosomid lizard found in the southwestern and central United States, in the states of Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming, as well as throughout most of Mexico in the states of Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Sinaloa, Durango, Zacatecas, San Luis Potosàand Nuevo León.
