This one was actually on a path where no motorized vehicles were allowed & it looked like it was run over by a bicycle. I picked it up with a leaf and moved it under a bush.
Polychrotidae is a family of lizards commonly known as Anoles (pronounced /əˈnoÊŠliËÂz/). NCBI places the anole in subfamily Polychrotinae of the family Iguanidae. Four genera are common: Anolis, Norops, Phenacosaurus and Polychrus.
