Description from Wikipedia

Prasinohaema (Greek: "green blood") is a genus of skinks characterized by having green blood. This condition is caused by an excess buildup of the bile pigment biliverdin. With all other vertebrates, to have an accumulation of biliverdin so high so as to turn the blood and tissue green would be deadly.
