In field behind my home which is located at the Northeast intersection off I20 and 820 Fort Worth, I saw a coyote walking south through open field that the town of Fort Worth owns. The area is West of Lake Arlington. The coyote was bigger than my dog which part pitbull/boxer mix of 60 lbs.
This happened about 9.30am Sunday. It is about 27 degrees with ice on field and ground. I have in the past 2-3 months heard howling/crying of 2-3 coyotes at one time. Sounds like raccoons fighting.Wailing, screaming, and crying. Eery!

Poor picture, taken with the iPhone at a distance. The two coyotes are in the middle left of the picture, on a hillside, roughly between the two Coyote Bushes.

Coyote dig, with long throw of debris, in 2 views, one closer and the other farther away. There is also a picture of a track that was coming into the dig. I could find no tracks in the dig itself, but it was surrounded by snow, and there were only Coyote and Gray Squirrel tracks there, and the throw was on the snow and was relatively fresh.
My pet dog. Sleepier than usual.
