As we were taking the curving exit from 20 east to 285 north (west of Atlanta) I saw a coyote slinking through the tall grass toward the exit road. He was 20+ feet out from bushes and trees, approaching the road like he was intending to cross, but there was a steady stream of cars. It was around 7:30 PM, warm, no rain, although there had been showers earlier in the day.
Smart fella checking out the fishing scene at Seward while his owner is busy on the dock with customers.
Seen entering the riverside woods.
Saw one coyote on the side of Mineral Point Road, stopped and watched it for 30 sec. or so before it ran into the woods on the south side of the street.
