Description from Wikipedia

The Round-tailed Muskrat (Neofiber alleni) is a species of rodent in the Cricetidae family, sometimes called the Florida water rat. It is the only species in the genus Neofiber. It is found only in the United States. Its natural habitat is swamps. It is threatened by habitat loss.
