Description

Also called Indian walkman and spiny devilfish, this fish is very dangerous and poisonous if stepped on, due to venomous spines along its back. Although, it will move out of harm's way if disturbed. It "walks" along the sea bottom rather than swims, using finger-like projections under its head. Its colors vary from place to place, and it feeds nocturnally on invertebrates and other fish.
