I know nothing about these sea creatures but there were a bunch of these large, purple and grey sea slugs washed up on the beach at Spanish Bay so it's time to learn. Roughly 6-7" long.
in crissy Marsh... maybe dead or dying.
4 of them
33mm length. Scanned from 35mm slide.
One of the kids in our group found this washed up on the shore. I think it's a mass of sea hare eggs.
This was a big baseball-sized mass of what appeared to be eggs in hardened tubes the diameter of spaghetti. It did not feel soft - felt rough. Submerged just below the waterline. Really no clue what this is, could be fish or ?
About 2 pounds, 18 inches long.
Found washed up on shore.
"A big speckled Sea Hare. As seen in every ocean aquatic touch tank around the country. Some think it as a sea slug. Amazing creature. Found on the beach under The Donalds Golf Club for the Sickly Rich."
