Based on its host plant being arrow leaf balsamroot, this is probably Corythucha immaculata (Drake 1919, Ohio J. Sci. 19: 417-421).
Locality: NEW ZEALAND AK, suburb of Saint Johns, University of Auckland Tamaki Campus (East).
Habitat: Solanum mauritianum. By pond. A few adults and a cluster of young nymphs observed on the undersides of leaves.
