These tiny insects were found on Mongolian Oak trees near the Anacostia river (Quercus mongolica). I found that the amount of these insects per leaf can range between 5 and 20. They have a very interesting wing pattern that is clear and black. The wings have a small section surrounding the head and the larger part of their wings are 4 times the size of that. Their antennae are thin and one third of their wing span.
