Description

I think this is Armillaria mellea. They seem to have a slightly different appearance this very dry (so far) winter.

Description

This mass of mushrooms were growing on top of a buried stump. I don't know what kind of tree it was and I'm not entirely sure about the ID of this mushroom either.
