Out surveying with a team of Fowler's toad researchers from McGill University. They had done captive release and were looking for toadlets.

Observed toad wandering through leaf litter at 15:29. Approximately 3.75 cm SVL. Underside almost completely white except for small dark blotch on the chest and speckels on the chin.
Fowler's toad (Anaxyrus fowleri syn. Bufo fowleri) is a species of toad in the family Bufonidae. It is native to North America, where it occurs in much of the eastern United States and parts of adjacent Canada.
