This hylid frog was found at night on a broad leaf during a two week herpetological survey of the Napo Lodge region where numerous other amphibians and reptiles species were observed.
Hyloscirtus albopunctulatus is a species of frog in the Hylidae family. It is found in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and possibly Brazil. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
